Halloween Party

Our school organized a Halloween party on the 26th October this year! Most of the teachers and students put on their favourite costumes and had loads of fun on that day. Early in the morning, some teachers and the NETs greeted the students at the school gate and many gorgeous photos were taken. During recess, students also actively participated in various activities, such as English party games, movie watching and arts and crafts. Our students were able to speak in English in a welcoming environment and learn more about western culture.

P.1 Activity Day – Cake Making

During the first term of school, P.1 students were treated to a day of baking fun with Miss Yasmin! With the aid of some wonderful helpers and the encouragement of our supportive parent-audience, all of the students were able to follow the steps and produce a delicious chocolate cake! Having previously learnt all about cake making during their PLP-R/W lessons, this activity provided an excellent opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of target vocabulary, language structures and procedural texts in a real-life context. Students then put their public speaking skills to the test and concluded the session with some fantastic presentations. Everyone left with a slice of cake and a big smile on their face. Great job P.1!
